Graduation

Picture from:
clickbank.wealthyaffiliatetips.org

Graduation is coming at us so fast its beyond unreal. At this point I no clue what I am going to do after it is all over. Once we turn our tassels and we have diplomas in our hands even then I'm not sure if I can believe it. After all the years of homework, getting up early, working your butt off just to finish a project, and all the hours we put into this all we get is a paper. A paper stating that what we've worked years for is over. It seem absolutely crazy but life is a crazy ride and this is just a chapter in it I suppose. I'm not sure what the next chapter has in store for me but all I can hope is that I have a crazy fun time with it just like I did in all that lead up to graduation.

Is Gossip Harmful?

Picture From: nydailynews.com

I do believe that gossip can be harmful, especially if you purposely trying to embarrass them or make them upset. And sometimes you don't even say anything bad and the person you told can twist what you say and make it hurtful gossip. Gossip can scar a person and make people not be able to trust anyone. Gossip can ruin friendships that you have had for a long time and can also affect future friendships. So it can be harmful, it can bring a person down and that can bring them to hurt themselves or others. So I do believe that gossip can be very harmful.

Triumph (or lack of it) in the face of adversity

Triumph in the face of adversity is in my opinion is reaching your goal or dreams no matter what tries to bring you down in life. If you have a lack of triumph in the face of adversity is when you let those little things in life drag you away from your goals or dreams. In the play Tillie does Triumph by finishing her science project no matter what her mom or sister says. On the other hand Beatrice doesn't triumph in the face of adversity because she's allowed her bad luck to keep her from her dreams.

Dreams

{Picture From: persuasivecreative.wordpress.com}
Dreams are wishes that everyone has and they are as unique as the people who have them. You work towards dreams and most times you let nothing get in your ways to reach it. Dreams can be reached no matter what anyone says. And if you want it bad enough your dream will come true. Like in the play Tillie's dream to win the science, or Beatrice's dream to open her own tea shop.

Self Image

Self Image in my opinion is not how others see you it's how you see yourself. As long as your happy with the way you are I think you would have a good self image. Think positively of yourself and not care what others think again you would have good self image. An example from the play is when Beatrice tells the girls she was popular in high school when she really wasn't, so she lied to boost her self image. Or Ruth by the way she dresses or wears makeup.

The most Unreasonable and Ridiculous

Picture from: Hollywoodoutbreak.com

I think the most unreasonable and ridiculous character in the story was Charlie. He didn't seem like that bad of a person in the beginning but as the story went on he snapped and went crazy. Charlie in my opinion is the one that started turning people against each other. I think that Charlie jumped to conclusions way to easy especially when they heard someone walking down the street and he just shot him. For some reason I think Charlie would look like Jeff Bridges.

The most Reasonable and Mature

 I think the most reasonable and mature person in "Monsters are due on Maple Street" would be Steve.  The reason I chose this picture was it seemed like the story took place in the late fifties or early sixty.  I think he was most reasonable and mature because he pretty much took charge when everything was going crazy.  And he kept his cool during most of the story.
